Job Summary

Vidyaranya, Mandur, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Computer Instructor to teach students fundamental computer concepts, digital literacy, and practical applications. The ideal candidate should be able to simplify technical concepts, actively engage learners, and foster an interactive, hands-on learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver computer science and basic digital literacy lessons in alignment with the school curriculum.
- Conduct practical sessions in the computer lab and provide hands-on training to students.
- Teach topics such as computer fundamentals, MS Office tools, internet usage, basic programming concepts, and digital safety, based on student level.
- Design and prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, and practical assignments.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and practical assessments.
- Maintain discipline in the computer lab and ensure proper handling of equipment and resources.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Ensure computer systems, software, and learning materials are well-maintained and updated.
- Encourage students to develop creativity, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills through technology.




- Collaborate with faculty and school management regarding student progress and computer-related activities.
- Participate in school events, examinations, workshops, and other academic duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or prior experience in teaching will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of computers, MS Office, internet applications, and basic troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with programming or coding concepts is desirable.
