Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Compliance qualified with 10+ years of experience in managing regulatory compliance, governance, risk management, and statutory obligations within an NBFC environment.



The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring adherence to RBI regulations, Companies Act, AML/KYC requirements, corporate governance standards, and other applicable regulatory frameworks while acting as a key advisor to senior management on compliance matters.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance & Governance

- Ensure compliance with all RBI guidelines, Master Directions, circulars, and regulations applicable to NBFCs.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess the impact on business operations.
- Develop and implement compliance frameworks, policies, SOPs, and governance mechanisms.
- Act as the principal point of contact for regulatory compliance matters.

RBI & Regulatory Liaison
- Coordinate and manage communication with RBI and other regulatory authorities.
- Ensure timely submission of regulatory returns, filings, disclosures, and certifications.
- Support regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Track regulatory observations and ensure timely closure of action points.

Compliance Monitoring & Risk Management
- Conduct periodic compliance testing and monitoring exercises.
- Identify regulatory risks and recommend mitigation plans.




- Maintain compliance risk registers and monitor critical compliance indicators.
- Drive a strong compliance culture across business functions.

AML, KYC & Financial Crime Compliance
- Ensure adherence to AML, KYC, PMLA, FATCA, and related regulatory requirements.
- Monitor customer onboarding and due diligence processes.
- Review and strengthen anti-money laundering controls and compliance programs.
- Ensure timely reporting of suspicious transactions and regulatory requirements.

Corporate Governance
- Support Board Committees and Senior Management on compliance and governance matters.
- Prepare compliance dashboards, risk reports, and board presentations.
- Ensure implementation of governance standards and ethical business practices.
- Facilitate policy reviews and regulatory updates for leadership teams.

Audit & Regulatory Reviews
- Coordinate with Internal Audit, Statutory Auditors, Compliance Auditors, and Inspectors.
- Ensure closure of audit observations within agreed timelines.
- Conduct compliance reviews and ensure process adherence across functions.
- Drive continuous improvement of compliance controls and monitoring systems.

Policy & Process Management
- Draft, review, and update compliance policies in line with regulatory requirements.
- Design and implement compliance training and awareness programs.
- Support digital transformation and automation of compliance processes.
- Ensure documentation and record-keeping standards are maintained.
