Compliance Manager – Roles &

- Responsibilities

- Statutory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with Factories Act, Labour Laws, PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Payment of Wages, Shops &
- Establishments, etc.

- Monitor statutory due dates and ensure timely payments, returns and renewals.

- Maintain all statutory registers and records.

- Factory &

- Government Compliance

- Handle Factory Licence, DISH/Factory Inspectorate requirements, occupier/manager changes and factory name changes.

- Coordinate with Labour Department, Pollution Control Board and other government authorities.

- Ensure required licences, approvals and NOCs are valid.

- HR Compliance

- Verify employee documentation, appointment letters, attendance, wages, leave, overtime and statutory benefits.

- Ensure compliance with working hours, weekly holidays and overtime provisions.

- Audit Management

- Coordinate customer, social, statutory and certification audits.

- Prepare documents and evidence required for audits.

- Track audit findings, corrective actions and closure.

- Social Compliance

- Ensure compliance with SA8000, customer code of conduct and other social-compliance requirements.

- Monitor child labour, forced labour, discrimination, working hours, wages, health & safety and grievance mechanisms.

- Health &

- Safety Compliance

- Ensure PPE, fire safety, emergency preparedness and workplace safety requirements are followed.

- Coordinate safety inspections, mock drills and statutory safety records.

- Follow up on accidents/incidents and corrective actions.

- Environmental Compliance

- Monitor waste disposal, pollution-control requirements and environmental records.





- Ensure valid agreements/authorisations for waste disposal and other environmental activities.

- Coordinate with approved waste vendors.

- Documentation &

- Record Control

- Maintain compliance calendars, licences, certificates, registers and inspection reports.

- Keep soft-copy and hard-copy records properly updated.

- Ensure documents are available whenever required by management or auditors.

- Risk Identification

- Regularly identify compliance gaps and legal risks.

- Prepare corrective and preventive action plans.

- Report critical compliance issues to senior management immediately.

- Management Reporting

- Prepare monthly compliance status reports.

- Highlight pending renewals, non-compliances, audit findings and statutory payments.

- Obtain management approval wherever required.

- Training &

- Awareness

- Conduct compliance awareness programmes for HR, Admin, Production, Security and other departments.

- Ensure employees understand applicable company policies and statutory requirements.

- Coordination

- Coordinate with HR, Admin, Accounts, Production, Quality and Management.

- Maintain regular communication with government departments, auditors and consultants.

Key Performance Areas (KPI)

- 100% statutory compliance within due dates

- Zero major statutory violations

- Zero overdue licences/renewals

- Timely closure of audit findings

- Proper maintenance of statutory registers

- Zero major customer/social-compliance findings

- Timely submission of management compliance reports

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
