- Monitor and ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, NBFC regulations, and other applicable financial sector laws
- Review and update internal policies, lending agreements, and customer-facing documents to reflect regulatory changes
- Assist in drafting and vetting loan agreements, privacy policies, terms & conditions, and other legal documents
- Support the team during regulatory audits, inspections, and due diligence processes
- Track changes in laws related to digital lending, data privacy (DPDP Act), and consumer protection and flag relevant updates
- Coordinate with internal teams (product, operations, credit) to embed compliance requirements into workflows
- Maintain compliance registers, trackers, and reporting dashboards
- Handle customer grievance escalations that involve legal or regulatory implications
- Assist in filing returns and reports to regulators as required
