Role Description The Commis 3 role at KIPPIS By Indigrains is a full-time, on-site position located in Hauz Khas. The selected candidate will support the kitchen team in preparing ingredients, assisting in the cooking and plating of Northern European–inspired dishes, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Day-to-day responsibilities include basic food preparation, mise en place, proper storage of ingredients, and assisting in set-up for catering events. The Commis 3 will follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs, help with inventory checks, and ensure kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.



This role requires a strong focus on quality, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently during busy service and event schedules.

Qualifications

- Foundational culinary skills, including basic knife work, food preparation, and familiarity with professional kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and proper storage practices in a commercial kitchen.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately and consistently, with attention to detail in taste and presentation.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively during peak hours and events.
- Prior experience in a professional kitchen or catering setting is preferred; formal culinary training or certification is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn Northern European–inspired cuisine and adapt to the studio’s menu and service style.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform typical kitchen tasks; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event schedules as needed.
