We are seeking a proactive Collection Manager to manage overdue lease accounts, minimize delinquency, and ensure timely recovery while maintaining customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Track and manage collections for assigned portfolio, focusing on overdue and delinquent lease accounts.
- Develop and execute follow-up strategies (calls, field visits, notices) for timely recovery of dues.
- Coordinate with legal team for cases requiring repossession, arbitration, or legal recovery action.
- Monitor bucket-wise delinquency (0-30, 30-60, 60-90+ days) and report portfolio health to management.
- Negotiate settlements/restructuring for stressed accounts within approved policy limits.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities, payment commitments, and follow-ups in the system.
- Liaise with field collection agents/agencies and ensure adherence to fair collection practices.




- Work closely with the credit team to share feedback on portfolio trends and risk indicators.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in collections/recovery, preferably in leasing, NBFC, or banking.
- Working knowledge of collection processes, legal recovery mechanisms (SARFAESI/arbitration, where applicable), and RBI fair practice guidelines.
- Solid negotiation, communication, and field coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; exposure to collection/CRM software preferred.
- Ability to work under targets and manage a team of field collection executives.
