Devi Metal Products is a precision manufacturing company specializing in Swiss-type CNC machining, CNC turning, milling, and drawing-based custom manufacturing. We serve customers in industries such as Industrial Machinery, Electrical & Electronics, Automotive, EV, and Engineering.

Our machine shop includes

- Star SB20R (3 Machines)
- Tsugami B0385L
- Star SRJ-32III Type A

We are looking for a skilled and responsible CNC Programmer & Application Engineer to strengthen our programming and process development team.

Job Responsibilities

- Prepare, modify, and optimize CNC programs for Swiss-type CNC machines.
- Develop new components from customer drawings.
- Conduct machine trials and optimize machining processes.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, holders, guide bushes, and tooling.
- Reduce cycle time while maintaining quality and tool life.
- Prepare setup sheets, tool lists, and process documentation.
- Support production during new job development and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate closely with the Production Team and On-Site Quality Inspector.
- Analyze machining issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain program backups and revision records.
- Improve productivity, machine utilization, and process stability.
- Train machine setters and operators whenever required.
- Participate in continuous process improvement activities.

Required Skills




- Experience in CNC programming for Swiss-type machines (Star, Tsugami, Citizen, Tornos or similar).
- Strong understanding of turning operations, tooling, cutting parameters, and process optimization.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Knowledge of machining Stainless Steel, Brass, Aluminium, Copper, Mild Steel, Alloy Steel, and other engineering materials.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Knowledge of ESPRIT CAM software will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

- 3–8 years of CNC programming experience.
- Experience with Swiss-type sliding head CNC machines is highly preferred.
- Experience in new product development and production support.
