Role Description This is a full-time Civil Engineer role based in Surat with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a combination of on-site and work-from-home activities.

The Civil

Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of water-related infrastructure, including canals, dams, distribution networks, and irrigation systems. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing engineering drawings and technical specifications, conducting site inspections, monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality,



and environmental standards. The role involves coordinating with project managers, government stakeholders, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve design and construction issues and to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

The Civil

Engineer will also support stormwater management solutions, prepare technical reports, and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices within MVK.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, including structural and hydraulic design for infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess experience as Civil Engineers with capabilities in Planning and project coordination for EPC and water-sector works.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage systems, and related hydrology/hydraulics principles.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD or similar) and MS Office tools.
- Familiarity with national standards, codes, and regulations applicable to civil and water infrastructure projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality practices.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with field and office teams in a hybrid work environment.
- Prior experience in water supply, irrigation, or large infrastructure projects is highly beneficial.
