Role Description: Cinematographer — Full-Time

11th Hour Productions is looking for a full time cinematographer to join our growing team.

We work closely with a select group of clients, creating digital content that helps build and grow their brands. We’re looking for someone who wants to grow beyond simply operating a camera—someone who wants to understand the brand, collaborate with our creative team and eventually grow into a cinematographer capable of handling larger advertising productions and our original content.

What you’ll be doing initially

- Shooting day-to-day digital content for our clients.
- Handling basic lighting setups for interviews, reels, product content and branded videos.
- Working with natural light and simple lighting equipment to create polished visuals.
- Operating mirrorless and cinema cameras as required.
- Collaborating with our creative and production teams from idea to final shoot.
- Helping develop a consistent visual language for the brands we work with.

- What we’re looking for

- A good eye for composition, framing and visual storytelling.




- Practical understanding of lighting and a curiosity to master it.
- Comfort with fast-paced digital content production.
- Basic knowledge of camera operation and exposure.
- Someone who can create good visuals without depending on expensive equipment.
- A portfolio with at least one personal or professional project you’re proud of.
- A collaborative mindset and the desire to grow with a production company.

You don’t need to know everything. If you haven’t worked with large cinema cameras or professional advertising productions yet, that’s okay. The opportunity is to learn those skills with us as you grow.

This is a full-time position, not a freelance opportunity. We’re looking for someone who wants to become part of 11th Hour, grow with our clients and eventually take on larger productions and original projects with us.

Qualifications

- Degree or diploma in Cinematography, Film, Media, Visual Communication, Animation, or a related field — preferred, not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of camera operation, exposure, composition and framing.
- Hands-on experience with lighting for digital content, including key/fill lighting and practical lighting setups.
- Familiarity with mirrorless cameras and basic production equipment.
- Experience shooting Reels, interviews, branded content or social media videos is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of video editing is preferred.
- Strong visual sense and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a creative team.
- A portfolio/showreel demonstrating at least one strong personal or professional project.
- Willingness to learn professional cinema cameras, advanced lighting and larger-scale commercial production.
