Role Description The CI Flexo Printing Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the CI flexographic printing lines, ensuring efficient, high-quality output that meets customer specifications and company standards. This full-time, on-site role based in Chennai includes managing production schedules, coordinating workflow between printing, lamination, and finishing, and optimizing machine settings to achieve consistent print quality. The manager will supervise and train printing staff, enforce safety and quality procedures, and collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and maintain equipment performance.





The role also involves working closely with design, sales, and production planning teams to review job requirements, resolve technical issues, and support continuous process improvements. The successful candidate will contribute to cost control, waste reduction, and implementation of best practices in CI flexo printing.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Print Production and Printing processes, especially CI flexo printing for films, laminates, and flexible packaging.
- Proven experience in Production Management, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and team supervision in a printing or packaging environment.
- Exposure to Sales and customer interaction, with the ability to understand client requirements and support technical discussions related to print jobs.
- Knowledge of Print Design fundamentals, color management, and alignment of design files with press capabilities and substrate properties.
- Experience working with advanced printing and converting machinery such as CI flexo presses, extrusion lines, lamination, rotogravure, slitters, and pouching equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot print defects, registration issues, and process deviations.
- Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate diverse production teams.
