About the Role

Safety Troop Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a creative and skilled Children’s Book Illustrator to join our team. The role involves developing engaging, age-appropriate illustrations for children’s books, stories, educational resources, comics, videos and child-wellness content.

The ideal candidate should have strong drawing and character-design skills and be able to translate ideas and written concepts into clear, expressive and visually engaging illustrations for children.

Key Responsibilities

- Create original illustrations for children’s books, stories, comics, educational resources and videos.
- Develop expressive and relatable characters with consistency across different scenes, poses and perspectives.
- Create illustrations suited to different age groups and levels of understanding.
- Translate creative briefs, concepts and stories into visual narratives.
- Maintain consistency in character design, illustration style and visual storytelling across projects.
- Collaborate with the content and creative teams to develop illustrations based on project requirements.
- Incorporate feedback and make revisions while maintaining the overall creative direction.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Solid hand-drawing and sketching skills.
- Good understanding of character design, expressions, poses, perspective and composition.
- Strong visual storytelling skills.
- Ability to create engaging, expressive and age-appropriate illustrations.
- Good understanding of colour, proportion and visual communication.
- Ability to work independently while following creative briefs and timelines.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating children’s illustration, character design and/or visual storytelling.

Preferred Tools

Experience with any of the following is preferred:

- Procreate
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Other digital illustration tools

What You’ll Work On

You will contribute to children’s books, educational resources, stories, comics and child-wellness content, creating visuals that help children understand, engage with and connect to important ideas.
