Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at PitStop Energy will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management in a fast-evolving energy environment. The CFO will develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives, lead the finance team, and ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, guiding capital allocation decisions, monitoring key financial metrics, and providing strategic insights to the executive leadership team and board.
The role will also involve partnering with business units on investment evaluations, risk management, and long-term planning.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with a combination of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Analytical Skills to support strategic decision-making and performance optimization.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Planning and Financial Reporting to manage budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
- Candidates should possess deep knowledge of Financial Statements and related accounting principles to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably as a CFO or equivalent in a growth-oriented or energy-related organization.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, MBA in Finance, or an equivalent advanced degree are highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record in fundraising, investor relations, and working with boards, banks, and external partners.
- Comfort with digital tools, financial systems, and data analytics platforms to drive automation and insight-generation.
