Role Description The Chief AI Agent Officer is a part time, remote role responsible for leading the design, deployment, and oversight of AI agents across the firm’s investment, operations, and client service workflows. This role sets the AI vision and roadmap, aligning intelligent automation with the company’s stewardship-focused strategy and long-term asset management objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying high-impact use cases, defining agent architectures, supervising implementation, and establishing governance standards for safety, compliance, and data integrity.

The Chief AI Agent Officer will collaborate closely with leadership, investment teams, and operations to integrate AI agents into decision-support tools, portfolio analytics, process optimization,



and client-facing experiences. The role also involves monitoring performance, refining AI agent behavior, and ensuring that automation enhances, rather than replaces, the firm’s relationship-centric and legacy-focused approach.

Qualifications

- Technical AI leadership skills, including experience with AI agents, machine learning systems, automation workflows, and data-driven decision-support tools.
- Strategic and operational skills, such as product strategy, AI roadmap development, process optimization, and change management in complex organizations.
- Governance and risk skills, including AI ethics, regulatory awareness, data privacy, and the ability to define standards for safe and responsible AI deployment.
- Stakeholder and communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences, build cross-functional alignment, and support client-facing initiatives.
- Background in investment, forestry, natural assets, or adjacent real-asset sectors, with familiarity in long-term, stewardship-oriented business models.
- Experience leading distributed or remote teams and collaborating across time zones and disciplines.
- Relevant academic background in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is beneficial.
- Demonstrated track record of implementing AI systems in production settings and measuring impact on efficiency, insight quality, and client outcomes.
