About the Company A leading pan-India bakery and patisserie brand, originally founded in Mumbai, is looking for experienced CDP / DCDP – Bakery & Pastry professionals to join its Central Kitchen team.

The brand is known for its wide range of cakes, pastries, brownies, breads, croissants, cookies, desserts and savouries, and has grown into a large multi-city food business with a strong focus on quality, consistency and fresh production.

This is an opportunity to take on a key production role within a professional, high-volume central kitchen environment and grow with a rapidly expanding bakery and pastry business.

About the Role The CDP / DCDP – Bakery & Pastry will be responsible for handling day-to-day bakery and pastry production while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, hygiene and efficiency.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of bakery and pastry production, the ability to independently manage assigned sections and the capability to supervise and guide junior team members during daily production.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle the daily production of cakes, pastries, brownies, breads, cookies, desserts and other bakery products
- Independently manage assigned bakery / pastry sections and production requirements
- Handle weighing, scaling, mixing, baking, assembling, decorating and finishing
- Follow and maintain standardized recipes and production procedures
- Prepare daily mise en place and ensure production readiness
- Maintain consistency in product quality, taste, texture, appearance and portion size
- Supervise and guide Commis and junior team members during production
- Coordinate with senior chefs to execute bulk production as per daily requirements




- Ensure production is completed within specified timelines
- Monitor ingredient usage and minimize wastage
- Follow FIFO and ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen safety
- Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of workstations, equipment and production areas
- Assist in maintaining production records and inventory requirements where required
- Identify and report quality or production issues to senior chefs
- Support the team in maintaining smooth and efficient central kitchen operations

Who Can Apply?
- Candidates with 3–6 years of experience in bakery and pastry production
- Professionals currently working as DCDP, CDP, Demi Chef de Partie, Chef de Partie or equivalent
- Candidates with experience in bakeries, patisseries, cafés, hotels, restaurants or central kitchens
- Candidates with robust technical knowledge of bakery and pastry production
- Candidates who can independently handle an assigned section
- Candidates with experience in high-volume / bulk production will be preferred
- Candidates with good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen operations
- Candidates comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume central kitchen
- Candidates willing to work shifts, including early morning shifts
- Diploma / Certificate in Bakery & Pastry is preferred
