Category Manager (Edtech Experience Mandatory)

Role and Responsibilities

- Responsible for course planning, pricing and Strategizing, scaling and managing the partner collaboration model.
- Responsible for managing the topline of your vertical.
- Build relationships with top Instructors.
- Identifying and executing initiatives to boost growth, driving margin improvements and delivering top notch customer experience.
- Understanding the category in depth and designing analytical insights into consumer buying pattern.
- Manage deployment and quality service providers.
- Manage relationships with existing service providers and consumers.
- Creative local marketing strategies and user growth campaigns.
- Working with the product team to create great user experience for that category.
- Working with the marketing team to generate customer requirements.
- Rolling out partner collaboration processes and ensuring that your team adheres to the SOPs.
- Team Management: Expected team size at full capacity:50+

Knowledge, Skill and Experience for the Role

- 3+ years of experience in managing multiple hierarchy teams of 10+ employees (experience in managing multi geography teams is a plus)



in account management/online advertisement sales or sales operations.
- Experience in starting and scaling large high-performance teams.
- A total of 5+ years of experience (candidates with lower but relevant experience in managing large account management/online advertisement sales or sales operations teams can also apply).
- Experience in e-commerce and consumer internet industries is highly desirable.
- Highly analytical and data driven.
