We are a Cafe based in Newtown, Kolkata looking for a passionate and reliable Chef to join our kitchen team. We focus on fresh ingredients, quality, and consistency.

Job Type: Full time

Location: Newtown - On-site

Salary: Rs. 20,000 - Rs. 35,000 per month (based on experience) + Food

Schedule: Day shift

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items as per standard recipes - Continental, Italian, Indian snacks & beverages
- Maintain quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes
- Manage daily kitchen operations, inventory, and stock ordering
- Ensure kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and FSSAI food safety standards
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff
- Minimize wastage and control food cost

Requirements:

- 2 to 5+ years of experience as Chef / Cook in cafe/restaurant/QSR
- Knowledge of Continental, Italian, Chinese and North Indian basics
- Can work fast during peak hours
- Knowledge of hygiene and kitchen safety
- Honest, punctual, and passionate about food
