What is the role: This position is embedded within MyTaxFiler, a respected CPA & Accounting Services firm under the Numera umbrella. We’re seeking a motivated Business Tax Preparer to join our dynamic US Tax team. The role offers an opportunity to work on comprehensive US individual tax returns, support clients with compliance, and gain exposure to international reporting standards.

The position is based in Bangalore or Udupi, Karnataka, and leverages 1-3 years of experience in US tax returns, international information reporting, and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

● Preparation of US Business Tax Returns (Forms 1120, 1120S), including state tax filings and file corporate, and partnership tax returns.

● Assist clients in gathering necessary documentation for tax filings.

● Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

● Support senior team members in reviewing client tax positions and compliance requirements

● Conduct basic tax research to resolve discrepancies or answer client inquiries.

● Review financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures.





● Maintain confidential tax records and files in an organized manner.

● Manage daily office operations, including scheduling appointments and maintaining office supplies.

● Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication, including phone calls, emails, and in-person visits.

● Organize and maintain an efficient filing system, both electronically and physically.

● Oversee and manage office equipment, ensuring everything is functioning properly.

● Coordinate with vendors and service providers for office-related needs.

● Ensure that all office operations comply with company policies and procedures. What you need: ● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

● Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced setting.

● High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in accounting or finance is preferred.

● 1-2 years of experience in tax preparation or a related field.

● Previous experience in office management or administrative support is a plus.

● Knowledge: Basic understanding of tax regulations and tax software (e.g., TurboTax, QuickBooks).

● Schedule: Monday–Friday.

● Hours: Jan to April 15 and Sept to Oct 15 (2 pm to 11 pm) working hours. During the peak season, working hours may be extended depending on the workload and Off-season 2 pm to 11pm.
