Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled BIT Support Engineer (L2/L3) to manage and support our enterprise IT infrastructure, networks, and cloud environments. The role involves handling critical incidents, ensuring high system availability, and acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues in a 24x7 operational setup.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and manage IT infrastructure using 24x7 monitoring tools
- Act as L2/L3 escalation point for complex incidents (P1/P2) and perform root cause analysis (RCA)
- Administer and support Windows/Linux servers and enterprise applications
- Configure and manage network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs)
- Manage Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) including policies, failover, and performance tuning
- Support data center operations including servers, SAN storage, and virtualization platforms
- Administer VMware/ESXi environments (VM provisioning, snapshots, cluster health)
- Manage and support cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Handle Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure AD, MFA)
- Ensure infrastructure security using antivirus, EDR tools, and security best practices
- Lead or support IT infrastructure projects (migrations, upgrades, deployments)
- Maintain SOPs, documentation, DR plans,



and knowledge base
- Coordinate with vendors/TAMs for issue resolution and hardware/software support
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and improve team performance
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards and regulatory requirements

Required Skills & Expertise

Technical Skills

- Strong experience in L2/L3 Support & Incident Management (ITIL framework)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Windows Server & Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, Routers, Switches)
- Firewalls (NGFW – Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.)
- Virtualization (VMware/ESXi)
- Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Azure AD)
- Knowledge of SAN Storage & Data Center operations
- Familiarity with security tools (EDR, Antivirus) and compliance standards (ISO, PCI, GDPR)

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in IT, Electronics, or related field
- Relevant certifications preferred:
- CCNA / CCNP
- Microsoft Certified
- AWS / Azure / Cloud certifications

Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations (critical outages)
- Good communication & stakeholder management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Team player with mentoring capabilities
