About the role

VC Green Energy Private Limited is looking for an experienced Business Analyst & Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, stability, and usability of our technology platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and designing requirements, preparing test strategies, executing functional and integration testing, validating business requirements, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

You will work closely with development and business teams to understand the requirements of our software platform projects. The role involves preparing comprehensive requirement documentation and test documentation, executing test scenarios, supporting user acceptance testing, and ensuring all application modules work effectively as an integrated solution. Strong analytical skills, business analysis skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify issues before product release are essential.

Key responsibilities

Test planning & documentation

- Prepare plans for gathering requirements and detailed specifications for development, working between business owners, designers, and developers.
- Prepare test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test execution reports.
- Analyze business requirements and prepare test strategies.
- Maintain functional and technical testing documentation.

Functional testing

- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Validate application features against business requirements.
- Identify gaps and ensure expected functionality is achieved.

UI / UX testing





- Test application interfaces for usability, consistency, and responsiveness.
- Validate user experience across different devices and browsers.
- Identify UI-related issues and provide improvement feedback.

Application & module validation

- Perform unit-level and module-level testing validation.
- Conduct integration testing between different application components.
- Execute system testing to ensure complete platform functionality.

Defect management

- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Work closely with developers to analyze and resolve issues.
- Perform defect verification and closure testing.

User acceptance testing (UAT) & documentation

- Support UAT activities with business users.
- Validate end-to-end workflows and business processes.
- Prepare user manuals, release notes, and supporting documentation.

Required skills & experience

- 45+ years of experience in Business Analysis & software testing.
- Strong experience in requirement gathering and related documentation.
- Test planning and test case preparation.
- Functional and regression testing.
- UAT testing and defect tracking.
- Quality documentation.
- Experience testing web-based applications and SaaS products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with development and business teams.
