We are seeking an accomplished Senior Business Analyst to join a high-impact transformation programme operating in a complex, regulated environment. Based in India, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering business and technology solutions that improve processes, strengthen decision-making and enable meaningful operational change. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative, technology-enabled initiatives, including the adoption of AI-driven capabilities where appropriate.

You will act as the essential link between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. Working across multiple workstreams, you will bring structure to ambiguity, turn strategic objectives into clear and actionable requirements, and ensure that solutions are practical, compliant and aligned with intended business outcomes. Success in this role requires sound judgement, excellent communication and a proactive, delivery-focused approach.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery and definition through to implementation and benefits realisation.
- Partner with senior business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, operational challenges and regulatory considerations, translating these into clear business, functional and non-functional requirements.
- Plan and facilitate discovery workshops, interviews and working sessions with business users, subject-matter experts and technology teams.
- Produce high-quality requirements documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, business cases and other analysis artefacts suited to the delivery approach.
- Analyse current-state processes and design future-state operating models that improve efficiency, user experience, control and scalability.
- Work closely with product owners, architects, developers, data specialists and QA teams to support solution design and maintain alignment between business needs and technical delivery.

- Support the delivery of digital and AI-enabled solutions by helping to define use cases, assess process impacts and ensure appropriate business adoption.
- Coordinate and support testing activities, including test scenario definition, user acceptance testing, defect triage and business sign-off.
- Identify, communicate and actively manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and change impacts across workstreams.
- Build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups, driving informed decisions and constructive consensus when priorities or requirements conflict.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- You will have demonstrable experience delivering business analysis in complex change, digital transformation or technology implementation environments. You will be confident selecting and applying appropriate analysis techniques across the full project lifecycle, with a solid focus on achieving measurable business outcomes rather than producing documentation alone.

- Experience working within the pharmaceutical industry, a life-sciences organisation or a Clinical Research Organisation is essential. You will understand the importance of operating in regulated settings and will be able to apply this awareness when eliciting requirements, analysing processes and supporting the delivery of solutions.

- You will be highly skilled in requirements elicitation, analysis, prioritisation and traceability. You will be able to map end-to-end processes, define current and future states, and communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong stakeholder-management capability is essential,

including the confidence to influence senior leaders and facilitate productive discussions across competing priorities.

- You will be technically minded and comfortable collaborating with engineering, architecture, data and quality-assurance teams. You do not need to be a developer, but you must be able to engage credibly in solution discussions, understand technical constraints and translate business needs into deliverable requirements. Experience working in Agile, hybrid or iterative delivery environments is required.

- You will have experience supporting testing and implementation activities, including defining acceptance criteria, preparing UAT materials, coordinating business users and validating that delivered solutions meet agreed requirements. You will take a structured approach to change impacts, risks and dependencies and will help teams prepare for successful adoption.

GOOD TO HAVE ALSO
- Experience contributing to AI, automation, data or other emerging-technology initiatives, particularly where these affect regulated business processes.
- Professional business-analysis certification, such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience working on enterprise-scale transformation programmes involving multiple stakeholder groups, systems or geographies.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Visio, Azure DevOps or comparable requirements, collaboration and process-mapping platforms.

The successful candidate will combine analytical rigour with pragmatic delivery focus. You will be an organised and self-directed professional who can build credibility quickly, ask the right questions and bring clarity to complex problems. You will be comfortable collaborating with stakeholders across India and, where relevant, international teams. If you are a senior-level Business Analyst with relevant pharmaceutical, life-sciences or clinical-research experience and a record of delivering effective change, we would welcome your application.
