Role Description

This is a full time on-site role for (01 post for) BSL3 certified Microbiologist (with working experience in BSL3 with class 3 pathogen handling) in the Lab on a chip & Biosensors Group of Prof. Sandeep K. Jha at Centre for Biomedical Engineering, IIT Delhi.

The role involves class 3 pathogen handling, pure culture, glycerol stock maintenance in our BSL3, maintaining SOP, training users, getting involved in R&D; of various teams while requiring these pathogens for diagnostic devices development.

The candidates should also have handled clinical Validation in atleast one project.





Candidates demonstrating this full potential will be encouraged to enrol for Ph.D. program at the Centre for a natural Career progression after Successful Completion of the assignments.

Postdocs may also apply and we offer unlimited duration tenure by supporting him/her via different projects. Our lab is amongst best funded in Biomedical Engineering/Diagnostics domain in India and shall remain so on the back of cutting edged research that we keep producing.

Qualifications

- Microbiologist should have handled atleast two class 3 pathogens and should have BSL3 certification issued to him/her already.
- Pay scale shall be commensurate with experience level and shall be amongst the best in academic setup.

Interview
