Role Description The Boiler Operator role is a full time, on-site position based in Bengaluru.

The Boiler

Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining industrial boilers and associated equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation. Day-to-day tasks include conducting routine inspections, checking pressure and temperature readings, adjusting controls, and performing minor repairs and preventive maintenance. The role also involves following safety and compliance procedures, maintaining accurate logs and records, coordinating with engineering and maintenance teams, and reporting any abnormalities or potential issues promptly.

Operator is expected to support smooth plant operations and contribute to reliable service delivery for critical and non-critical projects.

Qualifications

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, including strong Blueprint Reading skills.
- Foundational Metal Fabrication skills for working with boiler components, piping, and support structures.
- Experience with Welding processes relevant to boiler maintenance and repair.
- Hands-on proficiency in TIG Welding for precision work on critical joints and high-pressure systems.
- Knowledge and safe handling of Oxy-acetylene equipment for cutting, brazing, and repair tasks.
- Prior experience as a Boiler Operator or in a similar industrial operations role, preferably in engineering or manufacturing environments.
- Understanding of boiler safety standards, pressure vessel regulations, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to work on-site in rotating shifts, respond to emergencies, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant technical qualification or certification in boiler operation, mechanical engineering, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
