BIM / MEP Modelling Team – Multiple Positions | Ambattur OT, Chennai

We are hiring experienced BIM / MEP professionals for large-scale Middle East/Europe project delivery.

? Open Positions

1. BIM Coordinator – MEP

Experience: 8–12 years

Specialization: Mechanical, Plumbing, Drainage & Firefighting

2. MEP Modeler – Mechanical, Plumbing, Drainage & Firefighting

Experience: 4–8 years

3. MEP Modeler – Electrical & ELV

Experience: 4–8 years

? Location: Ambattur OT, Chennai, Tamil Nadu

? Project Experience

Middle East/Europe project delivery experience preferred, especially UAE, KSA, Qatar and Oman.

? Key Responsibilities

BIM Coordinator – MEP

- Coordinate and manage MEP BIM models covering Mechanical, Plumbing, Drainage and Firefighting.
- Conduct clash detection using Navisworks Manage and prepare clash reports.
- Lead coordination with Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Architectural teams.
- Prepare coordinated shop drawings, installation drawings and detailed sections/elevations.
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards, BEP and Middle East authority requirements.
- Manage model versioning, worksets and CDE workflows using ACC/BIM 360.
- Support as-built models, QA/QC and multidisciplinary coordination.

MEP Modeler – Mechanical / Plumbing / Drainage / Firefighting
- Develop and update detailed Revit MEP models based on engineering inputs.
- Incorporate engineering mark-ups, design changes and coordination comments.
- Prepare coordinated shop drawings, installation drawings and detailed sections/elevations.
- Generate 2D AutoCAD drawings from Revit models.
- Ensure accurate routing, slopes, pipe sizing, ducting, equipment placement and service zoning.
- Maintain model accuracy, parameters,



families and annotation standards.
- Support clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.

MEP Modeler – Electrical & ELV
- Develop and update Electrical & ELV Revit models covering Power, Lighting, Cable Tray, Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, PA/BGM and BMS.
- Incorporate engineering mark-ups, design changes and coordination comments.
- Prepare coordinated shop drawings, installation drawings and detailed sections/elevations.
- Generate 2D AutoCAD drawings from Revit models.
- Ensure accurate cable tray routing, equipment placement and service zoning.
- Maintain model accuracy, parameters, families and annotation standards.
- Support clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.

? Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Drafting.
- Relevant experience as BIM Coordinator / Revit MEP Modeler.
- Middle East project experience preferred.
- Experience in metro, rail, tunnel, airport or major infrastructure projects is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of relevant MEP systems and coordination requirements.

? Software Skills

Mandatory

- Autodesk Revit / Revit MEP
- Autodesk AutoCAD

Preferred

- Navisworks
- BIM 360 / ACC
- Bluebeam
- Dynamo (Basic)

?️ Technical Skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and mark-ups.
- Solid capability to develop,



modify and update Revit models.
- Ability to prepare coordinated shop drawings with proper annotation and detailing.
- Good understanding of MEP routing, equipment layouts and service zoning.
- Knowledge of relevant Middle East standards including ASHRAE, IPC, NFPA, IEC and BS.
- Understanding of BIM QA/QC, drafting standards, project templates and BIM workflows.
- Ability to extract AutoCAD drawings from Revit models.
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary coordination requirements.

? Candidate Assessment

Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a practical Revit assessment before mobilization, which may include:

- Development/modification of an existing Revit MEP model
- Preparation of coordinated shop drawings
- Clash detection and issue resolution
- Incorporation of engineering mark-ups
- Generation of 2D AutoCAD drawings from Revit models
