Role Description The BIM Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for leading Building Information Modeling processes across multiple projects. This role includes setting BIM standards, managing BIM execution plans, and coordinating multidisciplinary models to ensure design accuracy and clash-free integration. The BIM Manager will oversee model production, quality control, and data management, collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to support design, coordination, and construction workflows.

Daily tasks involve supervising BIM coordinators and modelers, conducting model reviews and clash detection, and ensuring that BIM outputs align with project timelines and client requirements.



The role also includes mentoring team members on BIM tools and best practices, supporting continuous improvement, and contributing to digital innovation within Unit7 Group.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) platforms and processes, including BIM standards, workflows, and documentation.
- Experience in BIM Coordination and Virtual Design, including clash detection, model integration, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Background in Architecture or related design disciplines, with the ability to interpret and develop architectural models and drawings.
- Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their integration within coordinated BIM models.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience leading BIM teams on large or complex infrastructure or building projects.
- Proficiency in common BIM and design tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and similar platforms).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and model quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
- Commitment to continuous learning in digital construction, BIM standards, and technology trends; familiarity with ISO or similar quality frameworks is an advantage.
