Role Description The Back Office and DP Operations role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The role involves handling day-to-day back office activities related to trading, settlements, reconciliations, and record maintenance for equity, derivatives, and commodity segments.

Responsibilities include managing depository participant (DP) operations such as account opening, KYC verification, demat and remat requests, pledge creation, and monitoring client holdings. The role also requires coordinating with exchanges, depositories, and internal teams to resolve operational issues, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain accurate documentation.



The team member will interact with clients to address operational queries, provide status updates, and support a smooth post-trade experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Back Office Operations skills, including trade processing, settlement handling, reconciliations, and documentation.
- Candidates should possess solid DP Operations and Finance-related skills, with an understanding of depository processes, KYC norms, and basic capital market products.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to manage client queries, coordinate with stakeholders, and provide clear, skilled responses.
- Candidates should possess foundational Sales and relationship-management skills to support client retention and cross-functional collaboration with front-office teams.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, or a related field; prior experience in broking, DP operations, or financial services is preferred.
- Attention to detail, proficiency with MS Office and back office/DP software, familiarity with SEBI and exchange regulations, and the ability to work accurately under time-sensitive conditions are beneficial.
