Role: AWS Data Engineer Years of experience: 7+ Years Work Mode: Work from Office Overview We are looking for an experienced Data Engineering professional with solid expertise in Snowflake, AWS and SQL Server to build and modernize scalable data platforms supporting AI, analytics and critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement data pipelines supporting Machine Learning, Generative AI and real-time analytics use cases.
- Build scalable cloud-based solutions leveraging Lakehouse, Data Mesh and streaming architectures.
- Drive legacy data platform modernization using containerization, serverless technologies and workflow automation.
- Optimize data platforms through SQL/query tuning, distributed processing and cloud cost optimization.
- Implement data governance, privacy, security, responsible AI and regulatory compliance practices.
- Design secure, resilient data solutions with disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities.
- Provide technical direction, mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional technology and business teams.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and AI-enabled engineering tools for practical business value.
- Establish architecture standards, documentation, runbooks and engineering best practices.





What We Re Looking For

- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering or Data Platform Development.
- 2+ years hands-on experience with Snowflake - mandatory.
- Financial industry data experience - mandatory.
- 3+ years of AWS experience with services such as S3, IAM, Athena, SNS, SQS and EMR.
- 4+ years of SQL Server experience, including SSIS and SSRS.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, distributed systems, cloud-native technologies and scalable data architectures.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals including OOP, coding standards, testing and maintainable architecture.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and technical leadership capabilities.
