Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, scripting, and application support. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS, Python, Java, Bash/PowerShell, and SQL, along with experience designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Manage AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and related services.
- Develop automation scripts and tools using Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Work with Java-based applications and support application deployments in AWS environments.
- Implement infrastructure automation, monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster-recovery solutions.
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, application, networking, and performance issues.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for application support, data validation, and troubleshooting.
- Implement security best practices, access controls, and compliance requirements across AWS environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps, development, QA, security, and operations teams.
- Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis,



and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.

Required Skills
- 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps roles.
- Robust hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture.
- Strong programming/scripting skills in Python.
- Valuable experience with Java and Java application environments.
- Strong knowledge of Bash and PowerShell scripting.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with AWS networking concepts including VPC, subnets, security groups, route tables, and load balancers.
- Experience with IAM, security, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting in AWS.
- Understanding of CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, Git, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of AWS DevOps and CI/CD services.
- Experience with cloud migration or modernization projects.
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer are a plus.

Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
