Jr./Assistant/Dy. Manager- Automation To improve production facilities, reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns and To ensure maximum availability of automation system by improving Reliability of system

Manager/Sr. Manager – Electrical & Automation

Responsibilities / Job Summary

KPIs (Measurable parameters of the role)

- Ensuring the machine availability of Conveyor systems, Robots & Data handling devices used for Tyre handling
- Responsible for Planning, scheduling, and implementation of Preventive,

Predictive, Shutdown maintenance of Automation Systems
- Trouble shooting of Breakdowns and Review deficiencies noted during

corrective maintenance.
- Plan and arrange the spare parts for all equipment in Tyre handling

automation system
- Coordinate with project team in Erection, Commissioning activities of

automated tyre handling process.
- Ensure targets of Equipment availability, MTBR & MTBF are met.

- Spares management of Automation Area.

- Coordinate JH activities, 5S activities within automation Area.

- Preparation of SOPs and Work Instructions of assigned area.
- Participate in Improvement activities like Kaizen,



innovation programs.
- Drawing Preparation of Automation Control systems.
- Preparation of reports related to program change/Engineering change

Request from end user.
- To Stop the machine in case of any quality, safety deviation & machine

abnormality
- Availability of automation system - 98%
- Participation in Innovation forum, Kaizen and QCCs
- Direct cost reduction including (Stores & Spares cost)
- PM compliance - 100%
- LTIFR < 1

Skills & Knowledge Requirements (Abilities / Knowledge & Expertise in field)

Competencies (Technical / Functional)

-Programming and Trouble-shooting the PLC’s, Electrical Drives(Siemens)

-Using the HMI program for Troubleshooting

-Basic maintenance of Conveyors & Robots.

-Basic knowledge on servo control system.

-Experience on Siemens automation systems

-Overall knowledge of Production Process

-Knowledge in MS office and SAP.

-Coordinate with internal customers.

Qualifications

Diploma/B.Tech/B.E (Electrical &Electronics;/Instrumentation/Mechatronics)

Experience:

Minimum 4 yrs of relevant Maintenance experience in Leading Process/ engineering/ Automobile /Tyre Manufacturing Industries
