Job Summary

We are looking for a AutoCAD & Draftsman to prepare accurate 2D technical drawings, layouts, shop drawings, and detailing for retail interior and furniture projects. The candidate will work closely with the design and production teams to convert design concepts and measurements into detailed drawings for manufacturing and site execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesAutoCAD & Drafting

- Prepare accurate 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
- Prepare furniture, fixtures, and interior shop drawings and detailed drawings.
- Convert sketches, concepts, and measurements into technical drawings.
- Prepare basic fabrication, assembly, and installation drawings.
- Make drawing revisions based on design changes and site requirements.

Project Coordination

- Coordinate with Interior Designers, Design Engineers, and Production Teams.
- Understand drawing requirements and clarify technical details when required.
- Incorporate site measurements and project inputs into drawings.
- Ensure drawings are completed as per project timelines.

Drawing Documentation
- Maintain proper drawing files, revisions, and project records.
- Follow company drawing standards, dimensions, material specifications, and detailing requirements.
- Support the preparation of BOQ, material lists, and cutting details when required.

Quality & Accuracy

- Check dimensions,



measurements, and drawing details before submission.
- Ensure drawings are practical for manufacturing and site installation.
- Coordinate with the production team to resolve drawing-related issues.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency across all project drawings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / Graduate in Interior Design, Civil, Mechanical, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, interior design, furniture manufacturing, or retail fit-out.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of 2D drafting, dimensions, sections, elevations, and detailing.
- Understanding of furniture and interior materials such as plywood, MDF, laminate, acrylic, glass, and hardware.
- Ability to read and understand design concepts, sketches, and technical drawings.
- Valuable attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of Excel will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

- Basic knowledge of 3D software such as SketchUp, SolidWorks, or Revit.
- Understanding of furniture fabrication and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of retail interior/site execution.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Compensation & Work Details CTC: As per industry standards

Working Days: Monday – Saturday

Location: Bhiwandi, Maharashtra

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
