Role Description The AutoCAD Plant3D Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara. This role is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing AutoCAD Plant3D environments, including project setup, templates, standards, and catalogs. Day-to-day tasks include supporting engineering and design teams with model creation, troubleshooting software and workstation issues, ensuring data integrity, and managing file structures and version control.

The role involves coordinating with project leads to align Plant3D settings with project requirements,



generating and updating 2D and 3D drawings, and maintaining construction and as-built documentation. The administrator will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary stakeholders, provide user training and guidance, and help implement best practices for efficient design workflows.

Qualifications

- Ability to produce and manage high-quality Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings using AutoCAD Plant3D and related CAD tools.
- Strong Drawing and Space Planning skills to support efficient plant layouts and transparent, accurate design documentation.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with engineers, designers, project managers, and site personnel.
- Hands-on experience administering AutoCAD Plant3D projects, including templates, standards, catalogs, and data management.
- Proficiency with 3D modeling, piping and equipment layout, and integration of process engineering information into CAD models.
- Understanding of industrial plant design principles, construction workflows, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving capabilities, and ability to work on-site in a fast-paced project environment.
