We are looking for a dynamic and technically proficient ATL In-Charge to manage and develop our Atal Tinkering Lab and inspire students to explore innovation, technology and problem-solving.

Key Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Education or a relevant field.
- Strong practical knowledge of coding, robotics, electronics, IoT, 3D printing and prototyping.
- Hands-on experience with platforms and tools such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, sensors, microcontrollers, CAD software and other emerging technologies.
- Ability to guide students in developing innovative projects and prototypes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Creative, proactive and passionate about innovation, STEM education and student learning.
- Experience in managing an ATL, innovation lab, STEM lab or similar educational setup will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities1. ATL Management & Planning
- Manage the day-to-day functioning, maintenance and effective utilisation of the ATL.
- Plan and implement activities, workshops and projects aligned with ATL objectives.
- Ensure proper maintenance and utilisation of ATL equipment, tools and resources.
- Maintain an organised and safe laboratory environment.

1. Student Engagement & Innovation

- Encourage students to explore innovation, design thinking, coding, robotics and problem-solving.
- Mentor students in developing prototypes and cutting-edge projects.




- Organise internal competitions, challenges, workshops and innovation activities.
- Prepare and mentor students for relevant ATL, STEM, robotics and innovation competitions.

1. Collaboration & Outreach

- Work closely with teachers and school leadership to integrate technology and innovation into learning.
- Conduct demonstrations and workshops for students and teachers.
- Coordinate with mentors, industry professionals and external organisations wherever required.
- Promote a culture of creativity, experimentation and innovation across the school.

1. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain records of ATL activities, student participation, projects and achievements.
- Prepare periodic reports highlighting activities, outcomes, innovations and student achievements.
- Maintain inventory and records of ATL equipment and consumables.
- Ensure timely submission of required ATL-related reports and documentation.

1. Events & Competitions

- Coordinate participation in relevant competitions, exhibitions, hackathons and innovation events.
- Organise showcases and exhibitions to demonstrate student innovations.
- Support students in presenting their projects at appropriate platforms.

Preferred Experience
- Experience working with school students, STEM/ATL labs, robotics or innovation programmes.
- Prior experience in mentoring students for competitions will be preferred.
- Strong hands-on approach with the ability to independently troubleshoot basic technical issues.
