Job Profile:

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

- Production and Productivity Throughput
- Achieving departmental throughput (painting of products, sub-assemblies & components) as per the Annual Business Plan.
- Monitoring and improving productivity across painting operations.
- Driving process improvements in the painting process to meet changing quality standards.




- Ensuring control over absenteeism to maintain consistent manpower availability.
- Quality & Safety compliance
- Ensuring zero hazards in the departments by Daily Safety Rounds, Toolbox Meetings, HIRA process, etc.
- Maintain a secure working environment by eliminating unsafe conditions and actions.
- Keep accurate records for the Integrated Management System (IMS) and ensure its proper maintenance.
- Disposal of hazardous waste to the designated agency as per the hazardous waste responsibilities matrix.
- Communicating the Environmental aspects and hazards pertaining to the activities to employees in their respective department.
- Cost Saving & Cost Control
- Ensuring adherence to the SOP
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources (materials, manpower, equipment) in the painting process.
- Minimize rework and rejection costs by adhering to quality standards and improving process reliability .
- Organizational Imperatives
- Engaging workmen in developmental and improvements activities like Kaizen, 5-S / Housekeeping, HIRA, TPM, and/or other initiatives brought in by the company from time to time.
