Production Planning &

- Execution

- Prepare daily and weekly production plans as per project requirements.

- Ensure timely execution of production activities.

- Monitor production progress and achieve planned targets.

- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Quality, Stores, and Project teams.

Shop Floor Supervision

- Supervise day-to-day activities of welders, fitters, fabricators, helpers, and other production workers.

- Allocate manpower according to the work requirement.

- Monitor worker productivity and discipline.

- Ensure proper utilization of machines, tools, and materials.

Fabrication &

- Manufacturing

- Monitor fabrication, fitting, welding, grinding, assembly, and related manufacturing activities.

- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.

- Check dimensions, alignment, fit-up, and fabrication quality during production.

- Coordinate with the Design/Engineering team for drawing-related issues.

Quality &

- Inspection

- Ensure production work complies with required quality standards.

- Coordinate with the Quality team for inspections and testing.

- Identify and rectify production defects, rework, and deviations.

- Maintain proper production and inspection records.

Material Management

- Coordinate with Stores/Purchase for availability of required raw materials.

- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.

- Ensure proper identification and handling of materials.

Safety

- Ensure workers follow all plant safety procedures.

- Monitor the use of PPE such as helmets,



safety shoes, gloves, goggles, and safety harnesses.

- Report unsafe conditions and incidents immediately.

- Maintain good housekeeping on the shop floor.

Maintenance &

- Machine Coordination

- Coordinate with the maintenance team for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance.

- Ensure production equipment is used properly.

- Report recurring machine/tool issues to the concerned department.

Documentation &

- Reporting

- Maintain daily production reports.

- Track manpower, production quantity, material consumption, rejection, and rework.

- Prepare daily/weekly production status reports for management.

- Maintain records of work completion and pending activities.

Required Skills &

- Qualifications

- Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

- Experience: 2–5 years in production, fabrication, manufacturing, or engineering plant operations.

- Knowledge of fabrication, welding, fitting, machining, and assembly processes.

- Ability to read and understand engineering/fabrication drawings.

- Positive manpower handling and team coordination skills.

- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Good understanding of industrial safety practices.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
