About the Team The Selling Platforms team is responsible for the foundational technology that powers Lowe’s selling experiences across stores, contact centers, and remote channels. We develop and operate highly scalable platforms enabling secure, intelligent, and reliable experiences for millions of customer interactions. Our teams leverage AI-driven insights, observability, and automation to solve complex retail challenges.

The Associate Product Manager (APM) supports the delivery of customer- and associate-centered product experiences at Lowe’s. In this role, the APM partners with Product Managers, Engineering, UX, and business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize work, and help ensure teams deliver the highest-value outcomes quickly.

The APM contributes to product discovery, roadmap planning, backlog management, and feature delivery while leveraging customer insights, data, and business objectives to guide decision-making. As Lowe’s continues to invest in Artificial Intelligence (AI),



the APM is also expected to develop foundational AI Product Management skills and contribute to the discovery, delivery, and adoption of AI-powered experiences.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about solving customer problems, leveraging data for decision-making, and using emerging technologies such as AI to create innovative products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Discovery

- Partner with business stakeholders and Product Managers to understand product vision and contribute to OKRs and roadmap planning.
- Support product discovery, customer research, usability testing, and journey mapping activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer and associate experiences through AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
- Conduct market, competitive, and industry research to inform product decisions.

Product Delivery

- Support discovery and delivery for a defined product area or smaller-scope features and stories.
- Work with UX, Engineering, and stakeholders to translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items.
- Manage and refine product backlogs in collaboration with Product Managers and Engineering teams.
- Drive incorporation of customer feedback into backlog prioritization and feature refinement.
- Influence feature delivery and help align engineering priorities with business objectives.

AI Product Management

- Identify opportunities where AI can improve customer experience, associate productivity, operational efficiency, or decision-making.
- Collaborate with Business and Engineering teams to define AI use cases and success metrics.
- Develop foundational understanding of AI model capabilities, limitations, risks, and business impact.
- Contribute to AI-powered user experiences, including personalization and intelligent workflows.

Product Analytics & Stakeholder Management

- Monitor product health metrics, OKRs, and business outcomes.
- Analyze customer behavior, product usage patterns, and qualitative feedback.
- Partner with Engineering teams to implement instrumentation, telemetry, and measurement frameworks.
- Prepare business reviews and communicate product performance updates.
- Manage stakeholder communication, expectations, and alignment for assigned features and initiatives.

Years of Experience:

Required

- 1–4 years of experience in Product Management,



Business Analysis, Product Operations, Consulting, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related fields.
- Exposure to AI/ML-powered products, Generative AI solutions, or data-driven product development.

Preferred

- Experience working in Agile product teams.
- Experience with enterprise platforms, retail technology, SaaS products, digital products, or associate-facing tools.
- Exposure to experimentation, customer research, usability testing, and product analytics.

Skill Set Required

Primary Skills (must have)

- Experience working on digital products, retail products, or internal associate-facing tools.
- Exposure to customer research, usability testing, or journey mapping.
- Familiarity with OKRs, experimentation, and product performance metrics.
- Experience working with engineering and UX in agile product teams.
- Understanding of Lowe’s retail, customer, or associate workflows.
