What You’ll Own

Product Innovation & Development

Drive end-to-end development of beauty and personal care products from concept to commercialization.

Translate consumer needs, market insights, and trends into new product opportunities.

Collaborate with formulation partners and manufacturers to develop, test, and refine product samples.

Lead product trials, testing cycles, and quality enhancements.

Benchmark global and domestic beauty brands to identify innovation opportunities.

Vendor & Manufacturing Partnerships

Identify and collaborate with third-party manufacturers and suppliers.

Manage product development timelines, costing, and production readiness.

Ensure quality standards and performance benchmarks are consistently met.

Packaging & Product Experience

Work on packaging development aligned with brand positioning and functionality.

Evaluate materials, aesthetics, and cost efficiency.

Partner with packaging vendors through sampling and finalization.

Regulatory & Quality Compliance

Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, and industry standards.

Maintain product documentation, specifications, and certifications.

Commercial & Cross-Functional Execution

Support product launches in collaboration with marketing, operations, and design teams.

Monitor product performance and recommend improvements.

Optimize product cost without compromising quality or experience.

Ideal Candidate

Strong Product Development Profile from established Beauty / Personal Care / Skincare / Cosmetics brands

Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 4+ years of total experience in product development, with at least 2+ years in the beauty / personal care / skincare / cosmetics industry (brand or manufacturing unit).

Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have end-to-end experience across product ideation, formulation, development, testing, vendor coordination, commercialisation, and launch.

Mandatory (Experience 3): Must have experience collaborating with formulation partners and third-party manufacturers to develop, test,



and refine product samples.

Mandatory (Experience 4): Must have experience leading product trials, testing cycles, and quality enhancements, while managing timelines, costing, and production readiness.

Mandatory (Skill 1): Must have a strong understanding of product lifecycle, formulations, manufacturing processes, and beauty & personal care trends, consumer insights, ingredients, and innovations.

Mandatory (Skill 2): Must have experience with packaging development — evaluating materials, aesthetics, and cost efficiency, and working with packaging vendors through sampling and finalization.

Mandatory (Skill 3): Must have robust stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills, working closely with sourcing, marketing, design, regulatory, and manufacturing teams.

Mandatory (Skill 4): Must have strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple product launches simultaneously.

Mandatory (Industry): Must come from an established beauty, personal care, skincare, or cosmetics brand, a beauty manufacturing unit, or have experience working with third-party manufacturers and vendors in the beauty/personal care space.

Mandatory (Compliance): Must have experience ensuring regulatory, safety, and quality compliance, and maintaining product documentation, specifications, and certifications.

Preferred (Seniority): Senior-level / strong Team Lead profiles preferred.

Preferred (Education): Degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related field.

Preferred (Category): Understanding of skincare, haircare, or personal care categories, ingredient trends, regulatory standards, and product testing processes.

Pay: ₹793,997.47 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
