JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition: AGM - FinanceLocation:MumbaiDepartment: Finance GeneralFunction:FinanceReporting to: Associate director Planning Context & Role We are looking for candidates with experience in data analytics, ability to engage with various stakeholders for development and execution of strategy. Profit, value of recent business (VNB) and Embedded Value (EV) are key KPIs for the management team.

Work with multiple functions for improvement of various operating levers such as surrenders, persistency, mortality, product mix, expenses

Qualification: CA with 5-7 years of post-qualification experience

- Experience in financial planning role of Life insurance companies
- Experience in both IGAAP and IFRS/Ind AS
- In depth knowledge of VNB/EV (Life insurance sector).



Analyze product and channel level margins on a monthly basis and assist channels to drive profitable cohorts
- Monthly projection of margins and providing insights to management
- Familiar with the financial statements of life insurance companies. Analysis of profit and sources of surplus. Comparison against plan and projections.

- Preparing Mancom presentations and materials for internal and external discussions
- Responsible for liasoning with business units and support functions (Actuarial, Claims, Retention, Operations, MIS, Analytics, Finance) to ensure key levers (early claims, product mix, persistency and surrenders) are optimized
- Running multiple projects
- Business case evaluation
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and having good communication skills
