About Business line/Function: The Real Asset team will focus on Securitized &
- Structured Assets (SSA) Portfolio Management Support
- Insurance Linked Securities (ILS) - Portfolio Data Analytics
- Corporate Credit (CC) - Leverage Loan Fund Reporting
- Credit (CC) –
- Leverage Loan Database Management; specifically in support of Structured Finance functions.
Position Purpose: The Secured Finance Private Financing and Alt Credit Mortgage team manages monthly valuations and quarterly internal ratings and also coordinate credit mortgage deliverables including weekly portfolio updates across multiple compartments, ensuring data coherence and using internal templates to report discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Monthly Valuation: Update pricing templates using Bloomberg, Moody’s and monthly reports to determine asset valuations
- Valuation Governance: Coordinate the validation of valuations with the BNP PAM Risk Management team and distribute approved data to Portfolio Managers and Controllers
- Quarterly Internal Ratings: Manage the internal rating template process, ensuring timely updates and calculations
- Rating Approvals: Facilitate the approval workflow between the SSA Origination team and the BNP PAM Risk Management team
- Weekly Portfolio Management: Execute weekly updates across mortgage compartments, ensuring files are accurately modified and archived
- Data Integrity: Validate the coherence of data received from NIBC and update internal templates accordingly
- Quality Assurance: Cross-verify template calculations against NIBC trigger reports and proactively communicate discrepancies to the Mortgage team
- Quarterly CRDB Process: Manage the end-of-quarter CRDB workflow by updating templates and WAL files based on NIBC and Mortgage team data
- System Maintenance: Update the Mortgage Pricing tab within PHOBOS as part of the quarterly reporting cycle
Key Role Responsibilities
- Ability to manage a high volume of monthly tasks across multiple entities using dashboards and scope lists
- Attention to detail for performing control checks and ensuring that complex financial data is uploaded without error
- Ability to investigate data gaps and determine if a discrepancy is a technical error or a financial event
- Comfort in reaching out to external Trustees and internal stakeholders to secure access rights and clarify data
- Compliance with local and global regulations and market standards
- Flexibility to handle a wide variety of ad-hoc requests and varying reporting requirements for different clients
- Ensure adherence to internal risk and control frameworks,
participating in internal/external audits and various internal control testing
Expected Skills
- A previous experience in a similar role is mandatory
- Strong understanding of Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs), CDO structures, and trustee reporting
- Proficiency with applications - Bloomberg, INTEX

- Proficiency in managing complex templates and cross-verifying data between disparate reports.

Specific Qualifications
