Role Description The Assistant Vice President, Payments Product Owner is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru South. This role is responsible for defining and driving the product vision and roadmap for payments solutions within CSC Global Financial Markets. Day-to-day tasks include translating market and client needs into product requirements, prioritizing the product backlog, and collaborating closely with technology, operations, sales, and compliance teams to deliver high-quality payment features and enhancements.

The Payments Product

Owner will analyze product performance and client feedback, ensure regulatory and risk considerations are embedded in product design,



and support go-to-market activities including stakeholder communication and training. This position also involves leading cross-functional initiatives, managing timelines and dependencies, and continuously improving payment products to align with CSC’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications

- Product strategy and product management skills, with experience defining vision, roadmap, and business cases for payment solutions.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, assess product performance, and make evidence-based prioritization decisions.
- Product development experience, including translating requirements into user stories and working with engineering and operations teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Cross-functional team leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across technology, operations, risk, compliance, and commercial teams.
- Background in payments, financial markets, or financial services, with understanding of industry standards, regulatory frameworks, and risk controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications in product management or payments are beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder management and presentation capabilities.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced global environment, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results within agreed timelines.
