Role Description The Assistant Manager – Product Category – Kitchen and Home Appliances will support the planning, development, and performance of assigned product categories, with a focus on driving sales, profitability, and market share. This full-time, in office role based in Manjeri involves coordinating product launches, tracking category performance, and working closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to optimize assortment, pricing, and promotions. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing market trends and competitor activity, identifying opportunities for new products or improvements,



and ensuring category strategies align with overall business objectives.

The role also includes monitoring inventory levels, preparing regular performance reports, and collaborating with service and quality teams to maintain strong customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Category Management and Product Management skills for kitchen and home appliances.
- Candidates should possess Market Analysis and Analytical Skills to interpret data, track trends, and support decisions.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related skills, including coordination with sales teams and understanding of retail and channel dynamics.
- Relevant experience in consumer durables, or home appliances, preferably in category or product roles in product ranges such as Mixers/Fan/Pressure Cookers/Gas Stoves.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel and other analytical or reporting tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Manjeri, manage multiple priorities, and meet timelines.
- Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
