Assist the Head of Accounts & Finance in managing billing operations and controls.

Lead, guide, train and mentor the billing team while supporting team development and performance.

Ensure accurate and timely patient billing, discharge and billing adjustments as per hospital guidelines.

Reconcile patient services with respective departments and ensure billing accuracy.

Manage refunds, third-party invoices, credit card follow-ups and payment-related queries.

Monitor Accounts Receivable, collections and daily MIS reports.

Resolve billing-related concerns and grievances of patients and their relatives.

Ensure adherence to departmental policies, SOPs and internal controls.

Ensure smooth functioning of the Billing Department and effective interdepartmental coordination.

Maintain confidentiality of financial and patient information.

Identify and resolve billing/administrative issues while ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

Drive continuous learning, career development and compliance with hospital appraisal processes.
