Role Description The Assistant Manager Logistics role is a full-time, in office position based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. The role involves planning and coordinating inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution of products across domestic and international markets.

The Assistant Manager

Logistics will monitor inventory levels, track shipments, manage documentation, and ensure timely delivery in line with customer and business requirements.

Responsibilities include optimizing routes and costs,



maintaining relationships with transporters and third-party logistics partners, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role also requires regular reporting, data analysis, and collaboration with production, sales, and procurement teams to maintain smooth supply chain operations.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, warehousing operations, and distribution practices.
- Experience in transportation planning, route optimization, and vendor management for logistics and 3PL partners.
- Ability to work with inventory management systems, ERP tools, and basic data analysis for tracking and reporting.
- Solid understanding of documentation, compliance, and regulatory requirements for domestic and international shipments.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similar industry is preferred.
