Job Summary

Be a part of the Entertainment business legal team and provide legal support on channels assigned

​Reporting To - Director- Legal & regulatory

Key Responsibilities

- Contract negotiation & finalization – review and finalize multiple categories of contracts for Hindi GEC business including content licensing, production agreements, artist agreements, consultants/retainer/ service provider and marketing arrangements etc.
- Assist and advise business and commercial team(s) regarding various legal issues including IP, content and rights advisory
- Database and Inventory Management- Conduct due diligence, rights check and maintain internal documentation
- Assisting senior legal members for streamlining legal processes/ SOPs and standardization of legal templates
- Co-ordinate and work with multiple teams within the organization including inter-function and intra-function.

Key Skills





- Good Communication Skills
- Solid drafting and negotiating skills.
- Good understanding of media related laws including Copyright Act, Trademarks Act
- Prior relevant experience with media & entertainment organization.

Preferred Education & Experience

- LLB Graduate
- 4-6 years post qualification experience
- Experience of working in media industry/ media companies/ production houses/ music label is preferred
