Role Description The Assistant Manager Housekeeping is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore, responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas. This role includes supervising housekeeping and laundry teams, planning work schedules, assigning tasks, and ensuring adherence to brand standards and safety protocols.

Housekeeping monitors inventory of cleaning supplies and linen, coordinates with other departments to support guest needs, and assists with training and performance evaluations.



The role also involves handling guest feedback, resolving service issues promptly, and supporting hiring and onboarding processes for housekeeping staff. The individual in this position contributes to continuous improvement of housekeeping procedures and supports the Housekeeping Manager in achieving departmental goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess operational expertise in Housekeeping and Laundry, including room inspections, linen management, and cleanliness standards.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess experience in Hiring and supporting staff training, onboarding, and development within housekeeping operations.
- Relevant skills such as time management, attention to detail, and knowledge of housekeeping tools, chemicals, and safety procedures are beneficial.
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping supervision or a similar hospitality role is preferred.
- A diploma or degree in Hotel Management or a related field is advantageous.
