Role Description The Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Liaisoning role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role involves coordinating with government authorities, local bodies, and regulatory agencies to ensure timely approvals, licenses, and permits for the company’s F&B; outlets and projects.

The individual will maintain and update documentation related to compliance, agreements, and statutory requirements, while tracking renewal timelines and resolving liaison-related issues.



Day-to-day responsibilities include following up with stakeholders, preparing reports and summaries for management, supporting internal teams during inspections or audits, and ensuring adherence to applicable regulations. The role also requires building and sustaining professional relationships with external partners and providing regular updates to leadership on liaisoning activities and risks.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in stakeholder management, relationship building, and coordination with government and regulatory bodies.
- Knowledge of licenses, permits, statutory compliances, and regulatory frameworks relevant to the hospitality and food & beverage industry.
- Proficiency in documentation, record-keeping, and basic MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reports and tracking.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present information clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Hospitality Management, Law, or a related field; relevant postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in liaisoning, regulatory affairs, administration, or real estate/hospitality operations, preferably within the F&B; or retail sector.
- Comfort working on-site in Mumbai and traveling locally as needed for meetings, follow-ups, and inspections.
