About the Company

Sawai Jaipur Experiences is responsible for all events and experiences curated, organised and commercially offered at the City Palace, Jaipur; Jaigarh; and any other venues operated under affiliate organisations of the Sawai Jaipur group. The firm plays a key role in curating luxury experiences and offering heritage venues to clients from across the sectors of tourism, hospitality, events, MICE, weddings, and entertainment. The firm is also responsible for curating and organising all events and experiences offered under the aegis of any of the affiliate organisations of the Sawai Jaipur group, including but not limited to heritage festivals and celebrations, event IPs, brand collaboration events, etc.

About the Role The Assistant General Manager – Accounts & Finance supports the financial operations of Sawai Jaipur Experiences, ensuring accurate accounting, statutory compliance, and sound financial reporting. Working closely with senior leadership, this role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial records across all venues and event operations, while contributing to budgeting, audits, and financial planning in a dynamic heritage-hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

- Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Maintain accurate books of account across all SJE venues and operational units in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit & loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements on a regular basis.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

- Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts in coordination with department heads.
- Monitor expenditure against budgets and flag variances to senior leadership.
- Support cost analysis and financial modelling for new events,



experiences, and business initiatives.

Statutory Compliance & Taxation

- Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS, advance tax, and other statutory obligations.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable financial laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Audit & Internal Controls

- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure all audit observations are addressed promptly.
- Design and implement internal financial controls to safeguard organisational assets and minimise risk.
- Review financial processes periodically and recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy.

Vendor & Contract Management

- Process vendor invoices, manage payments, and maintain vendor ledgers for all event-related and operational expenditures.
- Review and verify financial terms in vendor contracts and service agreements.

Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounting, preferably in hospitality, events, heritage institutions, or luxury lifestyle businesses.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, or equivalent) and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, and statutory compliance frameworks.
- Prior experience handling multi-venue or multi-entity accounts is an advantage.

Required Skills

- Close attention to detail with a methodical and structured approach to work.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict financial deadlines, particularly during peak event seasons.
- Strong communication skills to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Discreet and trustworthy with the ability to handle sensitive financial information.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi.
