We are looking for an experienced AS/400 (IBM i) COBOL/400 Developer to join a dynamic technology team working on mission-critical enterprise applications and modernization initiatives.

? Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, and support applications on the IBM i / AS400 platform
- Write clean and maintainable code using COBOL/400, CL/400, SQL, and DB2/400
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and developers across the SDLC
- Work on integration initiatives involving APIs and external systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues
- Optimize SQL queries and ensure database performance and integrity
- Follow development best practices, coding standards, and version control processes

✅ Required Skills




- 6+ years of hands-on experience in:
- COBOL/400
- AS/400 OR IBM i OR iSeries
- DB2
- CL Programming
- Solid SQL and database management skills
- Good understanding of SDLC methodologies
- Experience working with APIs and integration solutions
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or Subversion
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

? Preferred Skills
- Experience in system design and architecture
- Exposure to automated testing and unit testing practices
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Insurance domain experience
- Experience with WINS (Workflow and Imaging Network System)
