Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Application Lead with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in developing and supporting enterprise applications using the MEAN Stack, along with good working knowledge of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and hospital management workflows.

The candidate will be responsible for application development, technical analysis, issue resolution, code review, production support and coordination with Integration and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Take ownership of assigned application modules and functionalities.
- Analyse business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain applications using:
- Angular
- Node.js
- Express.js
- MongoDB
- TypeScript/JavaScript
- Design and develop reusable and scalable application components.
- Develop and consume REST APIs.
- Implement business logic using Node.js/Express.js.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly Angular interfaces.
- Design and optimize MongoDB collections, queries and indexes.
- Analyse and resolve application defects and production issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis for complex application problems.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards.
- Review developers' code and provide technical guidance.
- Coordinate with Integration Leads for API/integration requirements.
- Coordinate with QA/Testers for defect resolution and testing.
- Support application releases and deployments.
- Analyse application logs and database information.
- Estimate development activities and provide technical timelines.
- Maintain technical documentation.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing.

The candidate should be able to:
- Understand hospital business requirements.
- Analyse how patient information flows across different HIS modules.
- Translate HIS business requirements into technical solutions.
- Identify the impact of changes across multiple hospital modules.
- Work with Integration Leads on HIS-to-external-system integrations.
- Troubleshoot production issues considering both application logic and hospital workflows.

Required Technical Skills
- 4–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in MEAN Stack.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Angular
- Node.js
- Express.js
- MongoDB
- JavaScript
- TypeScript
- Strong understanding of REST APIs.
- Experience developing enterprise web applications.
- Good knowledge of MongoDB queries, aggregation and indexing.
- Good understanding of Angular components, services, routing, forms and RxJS.
- Good understanding of Node.js asynchronous programming.
- Experience with Git/version control.
- Experience with debugging and production issue resolution.
- Valuable understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Mandatory: Working knowledge of HIS / Hospital Management System.

Preferred Skills
- Experience working on healthcare/hospital applications.
- Experience with AWS/Azure.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Docker.
- Experience with application monitoring/logging.
- Experience with performance optimization.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of JWT/OAuth and application security.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
