Analyst - Equity Research - 4 Years - Pune & Chennai Are you an experienced Finance, Accounting, or Equity Research professional looking to take your career to the next level with a leading fund house? Location: Pune & Chennai

Your Future Employer Join a leading organization specializing in accounting-based proprietary valuation and fundamental equity research. You will work alongside experienced research professionals and contribute to evaluating the true economic value of companies under coverage.

Responsibilities

- Support the Research Analyst team in conducting accounting-based proprietary valuation.
- Assist in maintaining and updating proprietary equity valuation models for companies under coverage.
- Apply customized accounting adjustments to assess the true economic value of companies.
- Support Research Analysts during earnings season, including model updates, forecasting using consensus estimates, and preparing results summaries for internal circulation.
- Conduct detailed analysis of financial statements and notes to accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Analyze company presentations, earnings call transcripts, and broker reports to identify their impact on company valuations.
- Track and analyze news flows and daily share-price movements while maintaining relevant stock databases.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis of accounting parameters across companies and sectors.

Requirements

- 4-6 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Equity Research, or a closely related field.




- Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting concepts, and valuation methodologies.
- Experience working with equity valuation models and financial data.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret financial statements, company disclosures, earnings calls, and broker research.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial modelling.
- Exposure to ESG analysis would be an added advantage.
