Senior AI Engineer role focused on building production-grade GenAI solutions for enterprise use cases. The position is part of Siemens Technology and Services Private Limited in Bangalore.

Role: AI Engineer

Location: Bangalore - Karnataka - India

Experience

- 3–5 years of experience in software/ML engineering
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Generative AI / LLM-based systems
- Experience with LLMs and GenAI frameworks
- Experience with API development and microservices
- Understanding of MLOps / LLMOps practices

Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, AI, Data Science, or related field
- Master’s degree in computer science, AI, Data Science, or related field

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy LLM-powered applications
- Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines for enterprise knowledge use cases
- Develop AI agents and autonomous workflows using modern frameworks
- Perform prompt engineering and evaluation to improve output quality
- Integrate GenAI models with enterprise systems, APIs, and data sources
- Build scalable pipelines covering data ingestion, embeddings, retrieval, and generation
- Implement LLMOps practices including monitoring, evaluation, versioning, and cost optimization




- Ensure security, governance, and responsible AI practices
- Collaborate with product, data, and platform teams to deliver business solutions

Additional Responsibilities

- Fine-tune or adapt foundation models such as GPT, LLaMA, multimodal models, and SLMs
- Work on real-world RAG pipelines, agent workflows, and production-grade GenAI systems

Nice To Have

- Agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or ADK
- Knowledge of multimodal AI for text and image
- Experience in fine-tuning or adapting foundation models
- Familiarity with knowledge graphs or semantic search systems
- Experience building AI copilots or automation systems
- Exposure to UI frameworks such as Streamlit and Gradio for GenAI apps
