What you will be doing:
Albertson's Companies is re-imagining the grocery experience through a digital and customer experience transformation. The DAM Administrator will oversee daily and business-as-usual (BAU) administrative operations of our new digital asset management (DAM) platform. S/he will be responsible for onboarding new users; creating user accounts; updating/maintaining metadata schemas; onboarding new business units into the DAM and building folder repositories to specifications; overseeing and maintaining automated workflow queues; and reporting on system/platform usage metrics and uptime.
This role will also serve as initial points-of-contact for system/platform troubleshooting and user support. The right candidate will be able to interface with different internal and external business units; able to engage & escalate to Engineering when needed; understand basic business requirements, needs, and urgency; uphold and enforce platform standards & conventions; and act as liaison to business stakeholders and librarians. This position requires prior experience managing digital asset management platforms; familiarity with managing digital media content & metadata; and a background in digital operations.
Main responsibilities:
- Onboard internal users into obtaining access to DAM; and assist external users for requesting limited access into the platform.
- Manage asset organizational structure, enforce structural conventions, and build out repositories when requested.
- Manage asset metadata schemas, enforce standards & conventions,
and create new schemas when required.
- Manage platform background jobs to ensure smooth operations and completions.
- Actively monitor system performance and storage levels; escalate when within technical limits.
- Work closely with engineering partners to troubleshoot platform issues & incidents; provide troubleshooting support; and escalate when necessary.
- Own and manage migrations of assets from other systems into the DAM.
- Train and oversee tenant-specific, lower-level admins from specific business units.
- Drive the creation of onboarding and instructional documentation for this internal platform.
What we are searching for:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing and/or Marketing tech
- Experience in Marketing/Advertising area with experience including but not limited to content management, media inventory & media management, brand management, and digital asset management (DAM) platforms and solutions
- Track record in owning the DAM Operations – including but not limited to taxonomy, Folder Structure, permissions, user access, Stakeholder coordination.
- Partnering closely with Product Manager in gathering requirement, supporting feature enhancement.
- Experience with DAM platforms including but not limited to Adobe Experience Manager, Orange Logic, Acquia, Bynder, or others
- Experience in configuring platforms for multiple teams and users with defined user access & permissions; structuring media folder content in a way that is organized but intuitive and non-cumbersome; building out metadata schemas that can scale to an enterprise
- Internet and retail experience preferred
- Strong analytical, prioritization and negotiating skills
- Usability and customer-focused design experience a plus
- Passionate about building great products and user-interfaces; and solving customer and business problems
